This project is located in an upmarket estate in Johannesburg, South Africa, with access to golf courses and luxury amenities. 

 

The Architectural estate rules are quite stringent with regards to the general aesthetic, which informed the interior design direction. 

 

The client was adamant that they wanted a contemporary design, informed by the use of steel, wood and concrete. I especially enjoyed designing the Guest WC with the use of Corten steel cladding and the addition of Calacata neolith juxtaposed against the natural wood and steel accents in the main bathroom and bedroom.

I worked on the design concept, designs and technical documentation of the design process.

 

This involved all documentation and design resolution with regards to bathrooms, kitchen, joinery (casework) & bedroom designs, layouts, finishes, sanitary and chrome ware specifications, lighting, electrical and ceiling designs and layouts.
